I really liked this movie. Characters are refreshing and the are some plot twists that keep you interested. Main character does good job with role. Nice family movie WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreI would have given it only 1/2 a star, but it is a kids movie. Still, it was so bad even my 3 1/2 year old Daughter was not interested - and she'll watch anything with 'Daddy'. Movies like this don't need to be believeable, but they need to be interesting. This was neither believable or interesting. The plot was boring, acting worse, and even though it was not supposed to be believable, it was too hard to swallow. I mean, how is it possible to allow your 16 year old daughter get shot at and when she says to her dad "you don't want to know" - he agrees and drops the subject! Perhaps being a dad I'm a bit sensative on this, but that was too much. This dad would have his daughter taken away by the state in 5 minutes.
If you have a daughter around th 6-11 year old range, she may like it, but the parent most likely will not. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

It is anything but Nancy Drew. As a matter of fact if they renamed it, maybe then it would be somewhat tolerable -oh wait no it's still horrible a poorly scripted movie that is desperately trying to be funny but falls short. Nancy Drew was never a perfectionist- it's like watching a horrible remake of Monk for outer space aliens. Did anyone else think the actress looked like she was twelve trying to drive a car? The best part is Bruce Willis' 2 second cameo (amazingly, it may have been a better movie if HE'D been Nancy) Please someone re-make this movie and do it right.
