Read More Very slow in the beginning, focusing too much on vagueness amongst the main characters and what's going on till the vampires showed up. I liked that they tried something different with the vampires being more like a pack mentality, moving like a human and reacting like an animal. But it all came to a crashing halt in the last 20 minutes being very boring, replayed and predictable. It's still worth seeing if you like vampire movies. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Cast was ok, story was ok, special effects were over the top a little but I liked them, they seemed very realistic. Where John Carpenter's movie THE THING gets an A+ from me, this movie gets a B because the story wasn't as interesting nor were the characters as interesting. Read More ok, i watched this movie and in the beginning its like not scary at all and kinda slow. The movie itself wasn't scary really. well, it was sort of scary but not really. I can tell u 1 thing though its VERY GORY throughout the middle and end. The vampires are pretty scary looking, just to warn people. It's also pretty suspensful. high school dramas (apologies to the good high school plays), this is the flick for you.
The premise started out interesting, then fell straight down with gore and more slashing.
If you can't give out a good flick, then use nudity or a slasher to make up for it???
When I was 15 I would have (maybe) liked it. BTW, we liked Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and other TV shows. Not the highest talent level, but better than this one. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||
