WAY TO LONG!!! The movie was done well but needed to be about 50 minutes shorter. The last hour was very interesting and the concept of the movie being a documentary was great.

This was a horrible movie, which I could only stomache 40 minutes of. It was SLLLOOOWWWWW, boring and the plot did not make sense (still don't know what it was). I read the other reviews, but with my son's name being Jesse how could I pass it up! Well, regardless of your son's name - pass this movie up. There was not one good moment in the 40 minutes I can remember.

As a student of film I am always looking for a movie that presents a strong story that moves at a constant pace and keeps the viewer engaged. This movie does none of that. It's way toooooo slow moving and waaaaaay to long. The conversations among the characters seem pointless and forced, and the action is nill as Jesse James seems to spend half the movie just roaming around the territory as he offs his former gang. ____One up point is Casey Affleck as Robert Ford. He has a strong performance. However, Ford is so annoying I really just wanted to get up and kick him in the head.____This movie is not worth seeing in the theater, first run or other wise. It isn't even worth renting. My advice; don't bother. Choose something else.
