Read MoreI love, love, love this movie! Subversive commentary on modern American culture but still with a hopeful, poignant edge that doesn't go totally cynicall on you. I don't generally enjoy movies billed as "comedies" in mainstream theaters, but this was one of the funniest and most sharp-witted movies I've seen in a long time. The last time I laughed aloud like this in the theater was when I saw the remake of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" with Johnny Depp. Perhaps that gives you an idea of the type of humor in this movie.... This has got to be one of the funniest movies I have seen all year! I got to see it for the Pre-release showing. It is fantastic. Everyone can relate to this movie. Very much recommend! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

He plays the over-the-top, twisted grandpa char that is neither funny nor remotely believable.
