Read MoreThis is one of the best WWII spy movies I've seen. Although it's long, it's so gripping and so full of plot twists, you're compelled to watch. The cold brutality and utter inhumanity of the Nazi regime are shown in unsparing detail. The acting is terrific. This is a much rawer film than "The Secret Lives of Others," which is another intelligent glimpse of what repressive regimes can do to people. I highly recommend this film. The photography and set decorations are handled meticulously. It was refreshing to see a new twist given to a WWII action/adventure, spy/thriller. This has everything you would expect with many unpredictable surprises. I was so impressed with this movie that I bought it to add to my dvd collection. What an incredible masterpiece. Read MoreThis is one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It was heart wrenching to see how greed affected the escapes of the trusting wealthier Jews. Even "The Resistance" begins to doubt their own comrades as they see the German's are in wait for them on many of their attacks. You can sense the despair in not knowing who they can really trust.
