Read More This movie was of good, (though I wouldn't say excellent) quality. I was more impressed by the fact that this movie was one I could let my 4 year-old daughter watch by herself, which she did over and over. There are so many movies marketed toward children that I really feel are not appropriate, however this movie really is child friendly! Even the chase scenes are not too tense and no one gets seriously injured. It had a good "moral to the story" and promoted diversity without being obvious or preachy about it. In today's world filled with sex and violence it's nice to see a good clean movie that has a moral to it. I would enjoy this movie with the entire family and know I can sit and and not feel uncomfortable about the use of profanity or sex scenesbecause there are none!! Times have changed a lot and baseball now is just so different then back then. I think kids will only like it because it is a cartoon, not because of the history.
