I'm 9 years old and I went and saw this movie with my mom in the theater. It was really funny. I recommend this movie for kids and adults.

I enjoyed watching the Underdog cartoons on Saturday morning when I was a kid. When I showed the "real people" Underdog to my class of Native American fourth graders today, they also loved the movie.

The bark of this movie was genuine. How come? It was much different from it's original cartoon counterpart, dividing ways from it starting at the very beginning of the story. Well done. This dog was clumsy, but an over all much smarter underdog than that of the original (no offense to the original underdog). There seemed to be a whole new perspective on the Underdog hero. The music was catchy- went well with the scenes. Effects were nice and you could tell they put alot of work into the character, yet kept some of the original stuff (i.e. the rhyming, catch phrases ect.). I watched it with my kids and husband. We all had a blast. It was fun.

Had the DVD arrived from Blockbuster and stayed with us for a week so that everyone in the family had the chance to watch it. The kids enjoyed it. Good family Friday evening movie night fare.

I am quite tired of Hollywood and Disney taking classic TV shows and turning them into feature films. This live action "Underdog" is related to the original TV show like Frankenstein is related to Herman Munster. The plot is corny, though it will probably have mass appeal to the pre-teen set. The thing that really got me is there was a talking, flying, super dog in this film and nobody in it seemed to think it was overly weird. Kudos to Patrick Warburton for yet again playing a goofball badguy. Kids will like it. People who aren't fans of the original cartoon will probably like it as well. As for me, it was not an homage. It was a rip off.
