I've seen better reviews of Broadway musicals on PBS. These numbers tended to be from more recent plays (Miss Saigon, Kiss of the Spider Woman, etc) and some of the older ones I had never even heard of. I prefer the review that has the ORIGINAL clip of Julie Andrews when she actually starred in Camelot (not singing it now)...etc. Still, it was more enjoyable than watching what was on TV (z-z-z-z-z) and you can always fast forward through the not-so-good numbers.

For those who can't get to see a Broadway show, this is your only option to see snippets of some of these great performances. Most of them are terrific, with only Julie Andrews medley and weak disappointment. Unfortunately, her voice was already going. (If you want to see her at her peak, rent the Ed Sullivan collection with her singing from "My Fair Lady" or "Camelot" you'll get chills. Enjoy!
