Movie was nicely shot with some great camera work. The plot was a little stretch and it could not find its way whether to be more fiction or story based.

Lots of action. The 300 is a movie about Sparta long about the time the Persians are coming around trying to conquer the world and is basically all about the stand that 300 Spartans make against the entire Persian army. In the background there is tretchery, and bribery to keep reenforcements from the 300.

The special effects were nice but how much of it can you handle it when the whole movie uses the same special effects over and over. I really missed seeing the sun while watching the movie. The whole thing about lets go fight was kind of repetitive. They tried to put something in regards to the story telling, I have yet to decipher what it was, by putting a couple of scenes about the queen having issues back in Sparta. The monsters they put barely did anything at all. Only one of the monster fought, the rest were just there for 15 seconds and never again to be seen. Why waste time putting the huge elephants? The rino? the executioner? Also, it seems everyone is in control of the persian armies expect Xerxes...maybe i need to rewind, but did Xerxes even get to say a line in the movie? Besides the special effects, the story left too much to be desired of.
