The camera work in this movie is some of the best I have ever seen. The action is non stop. The contrast of colors and backgrounds really make this movie unique and one of the few Great movies out there. You may find that the only downside is the amount of blood and guts, but it is not overdone in my book.

Worst movie ever made? Don't know, haven't seen them all, but this egregious piece of nonsense is the worst I've witnessed. If the producers target was junior high boys, they missed the mark. The 300's appeal would limit out with 6 to 7 year old kids.

This is a graphic fighting film with strong emphasis on the attack during the fighting scenes. I thought the photography and slow motion clips were outstanding. The special effects and photography were well worth this rental alone. I'm no historian but the history of the people portrayed them as a very dedicated brutal kind.

I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes of this movie. Just not my type I guess. Too hard to watch a child being abused to be made into a Spartan.

Much better than I expected it to be. Very bloody and violent but a good story. Maybe a little too much Lord of the Rings like monsters in it for a supposedly true story.
