I loved how she portrayed Jenna. She has a great ... Read More This is the best waitress/pie diner/loveless marriage/Mayberry-ish movie I've seen in a long time. Keri Russell played her character with ease. I loved how she portrayed Jenna. She has a great range, from angry to blissful. Her waitress friends were awesome too in this movie. Cheryl Hines's character is nothing like her Curb Your Enthusiasm character. She played a great, southern hick in a loveless marriage. The story was good, the romantic lives were played out well, though I would have liked a different ending. Sorry to hear of Adrienne Shelly's tragic death, I just found out at the end of the show. She was excellent in this movie as well. The whole cast couldn't have been chosen better and it was really humorous at times. Two thumbs up. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Read More This is a good movie if you are tired of the same old story and same old characters and of course the same 10 actors that are in every movie on the big screen. I loved this movie. I thought it was very imaginative how Kerri Russell's character makes pies according to her life's dramas and trust me.......she has plenty of drama. The characters were really well developed and the acting was phenomenal. I believed every character and just wish I could stop in for a slice of Jenna's pie. I don't condone the way infidelity is depicted in the movie, but I do feel more sympathy for the main character and I feel sorry for slamming a film the writer/director is not alive to defend.
