I enjoyed watching the transition of this city man, upon his slow and unknowling change to the joy and love of the country living.. A good move. Fine acting.... M

A charming and delightful tale of how easy it is to forget how people early in our lives have inspired us to success, whether we realize it or not.

This is that movie that will take you away and make you want to go to the South of France. Russell Crowe is very charming in sort of a shallow way. Very laid back and educates on you on the wine country of France. I don't think it caught on very well here in USA because it is a very European movie. Total chick flick. Make sure you have a great bottle of French wine, brie and some grapes.

Ladies this is a chick flick - don't be put off by Russell Crowe's character at the start of the movie. I watched the ending three times, it just made me melt. And do not skip the music videos at the end. I loved this movie, the setting, the acting, the story - all terrific.

A Good Year was a pretty BAD movie. Romantic comedy NOT Russell's thang - he was out of his comfort zone and proved that here. I will say though that the script was dreadful, therefore would have been tough for anyone to pull this off. To it's plus I will note that it was filmed beautifully & I enjoyed all the many old Harry Nillson songs through-out the movie. Albert Finney was good (as always) but he appears in a few flash-back sequences only. Over-all poorly written and poorly cast with Russell.

This movie was a few flashbacks and very little story line. It consisted of a man cleaning out his dead uncle's house and not even doing a very good job at that!! It isn't the worst movie I have ever seen but there was very little plot and yes it does have a happy ending but with no story line it really isn't worth the time.
