It is 3 different stories about Aids which end up all being linked at the end. There is a big cast of very well known actors who were great and the stories are very touching. The stories are heartbreaking yet also inspire hope. This movie does a great job at putting some faces that you care about with a deadly disease. It was very informative while being entertaining. Not just the issue of aids but their life before and after Aids. A well directed movie to the point where you want to continue to know about the subjects. Yet his films are compelling becasue they deal with vital topics and manage to pull you in despite the clunks. This one is cast very well and beautifully filmed and acted. Read More I have to not forget to say that this movie was well written and the scenery was even awesome, but if there could be a new movie category, I would start one and put this one on the Disturbing list. Bear in mind, I am by no means a film snob. I do not watch and critique based on anything other than how the movie made me think and feel about the subject matter, and how effectively the characters drew me into their lives. I found myself caring a lot about these characters and their stories, even if I did not agree with their choices. That says a lot about the actors, I believe. It is just bad acting and just dragging, boring. They also have these American-born-asians to act in this movie (the act took place in chinese village) but they have such a strong western accent when they speak chinese. I think it is very weird.
