Read More Story line was disconnected, the action sequences were sparse and relied too heavily on wire techniques. My ranking is based solely on the fact that the set/costume design was well done and SOME of the scenes were quite artistically composed. Also, there were a few well thought-out weapon designs. Other than that, the movie was aweful. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More As far as martial arts films go this one was particularly weak. The fight scenes did little to make up for the slow story line that made no sense and the poor translation. Throughout the film I was consistently bored and most of the time thinking about how bad the current scene is. Bottom line is there are plenty of martial arts films out there that do a far better job than this and I would not hesitate to recommend the likes of any of them over this.
I have never felt strongly enough about a movie before that I felt I had to submit a review, this is the first exception. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

The storyline makes no sense and the subtitles are too quick to even follow. The movie description was more exciting than the film itself. My boyfriend and I actually sat through the entire movie. The only thing that kept us going was trying to figure it out. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

I thought he would have been mature enough by now to direct a movie that is worth seen for a 2nd time. Even 10 mins into the movie, me and my wife (both Taiwanese natives) had realized it was a big mistake. It was unnecessarily graphic, violent, exaggerated beyond belief. They have poured huge money in this movie. The sound effect is in the same league as US movies. But all of that is wasted on an extremely weak story. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL?
