It takes you on a journey with a group of our soldiers fighting in Iraq. The story line shows the human side of what our fighting men and women go through without the politics. I think all Americans should see this story/ 13 week series. Steven Bochco and Chris Gerolmo have painstakenly made it very real for us to understand what is going on over there. Why it was taken off the air, I'll never understand.......but, you can bet that it was political! You see the side THEY don't want us to see about "over there!!" It captures all aspects of Army life, warts and all. From the Ranger tabbed platoon Sgt. to the bookworm liberal that somehow ended up in uniform, to the Army chic that makes her rounds sexually without a care in the world, to the racial tensions that never seem to go away and the bullsh1t lef wing politics that keep our troops from winning the war and the impact on family at home.

I loved it and didnt want to stop watching the set. It really makes your heart hurt for the men and women who went there to help for a war that was unnecessary for them to experience all the injuries and death they did. Read More Yup this show was without a doubt Hollywood in Iraq! I'm sorry but this show was real lame to me, why would they make a series of the war in Iraq as if they really know what's going on in Iraq. I disliked this show because I would say 91% to me was all fake and not worth my time at all. The characters were as lame as I couldn't believe, and they make alot of it fiction. Save your space in your queue I wouldn't recommend this series.
