Read MoreThis movie is a great movie to tell the plight of the massive genocide taking place in the world, especially Africa, today. The acting is great and the characters all play their roles with believability. This movie pulls no punches with the violent and hateful way some people treat others in this world because they are different. It makes you wonder why we aren't bringing democracy to these countries that are oppressing their fellow countrymen. I was reluctant to get this movie because of the subject matter but I wanted to see because people need to know what happens in Africa and how the world turns it's back on it but gets involved ... Read MoreI was reluctant to get this movie because of the subject matter but I wanted to see because people need to know what happens in Africa and how the world turns it's back on it but gets involved everywhere else. John Hurt played a great part, all of the actors portrayed their character and made you feel and forget you were even watching a movie. Read MoreThis movie will break your heart and also infuriate the viewer about the passive inactivity of UN "peacekeepers". It tells the story of Ruwanda's 1994 Hutu genocidal acts against the Tutsi people...a passage in history most people know little if anything about. Factual, graphic, and stirring ... it is not a film for the faint of heart, but a must see for most of us little to non-informed about the atrocities in Africa, most notable the passive inactivity and rational for the UN to even exist if they're so pitiful.
