Fantastic film, very accurate and invites up in to a snipet of life in the townships of J'burg. Excelelnt acting and incredibly vivid.

I had to watch this a couple times before returning it. I like foreign films and subtitles don't bother me, but it may be distracting to some viewers. This movie speaks to the hearts and really bridges a gap of understanding between the classes and cultures. The actor who played Tsotsi made his character's transformation come alive on screen and he touches your heart. It's hard not to feel compassion for him even through his delinquent acts. Seeing his feelings for the baby develop throughout the movie was inspiring in terms of our humanity.

Didn't know what to expect -- but it turned out to be a great flick from beginning to end. I'd recommend it to anyone interested in independent foreign flicks w/ subtitles.

This movie was very deep and it makes you think. I think this touches everybody's heart in some way that I can not describe. I recommend it to everybody. It also has a great soundtrack.

This movie was powerful and moving. You have a love / hate for Tsotsi. Immediately you pray for the baby throughout the film. But you are moved by Tsotsi as he grow and his emotions truly show for the child. Presley Chweneyagae was excellent. I like the ending. I understand why the director did not go with the original ending. Watch the two alternative endings. The difference in cultures and status and how people are viewed was very poignant. This is a must see movie.

What a powerful depiction of survival in Soweto. A real shocker for anyone unaware of what Aparteid did to so many people. Very moving and intense.

I found the movie very disturbing. The treatment of this baby in this movie, is horrible.
