Read MoreI found this movie to be well...truthfully frightful. It brought me close to the reality that people who are or seem to be kind and good can slowly become corrupted and evil. It showed that not all that seems good, is. Humans tend to see and trust the good nature of people, but at what cost to others. It absolutely is a riveting true story. Humbling to view although there were areas where Hollywood invariably exaggerates, there is some accuracy to what the people were subjected to and the conditions that we, in America, cannot even begin to imagine enduring. I thought I knew what to expect when I rented this movie. I love Forest Whitaker and knew a little history about his character. I was still pretty shocked and how much revolved around the character of Nicholas and wasn't really ready for the scenes. I could've done without seeing this movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This is a good fictionalized account of the reign of Idi Amin in Uganda. Forest Whitaker did a good job in the lead role and real did earn his Oscar. Highly recommended. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
