Blood: 3 1/2 Cheese Factor: 5 Acting: 2 Overall: 3 1/2 Ok so bottom line I liked this film, I had once rented it as a child and I've always remembered bits and pieces so I finally rented it again and it was just a good movie. Was it cheesy? YES! Was it slow? at points but overall if you enjoy cheesy 80's films ,y friends this is one to consider renting.

This is my favorite Jaws knock off of all time because it is cheesy which is just the way I like it. Its a cool idea of piranhas escaping into the rivers and eating anything in them but there is just one thing that does not make sense why would they have a drain on a pool built by the government especially for the piranhas. There is plenty of gore and some cool special features like the making of piranha and the trailer for piranha. If you like Jaws knock offs your going love this classic rip-off.
