It's Brendan Fraser. He was great in THE MUMMY, but he was painfully bad in this movie. When he's lame, he's lame, and when he's cool he's even lamer. He ruined it for me. The end was surprisingly twisty, but it would have been better had Brendan Frasers character been flattened by a giant, falling gorilla. Yep, that would have been nice. And the girl was ok, whoever she was. GO KEATON! Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Some parts of the film were predictable, but overall it keeps your attention. Keaton played his character flawlessly. Frasier's character was pretty annoying throughout the movie and his performance was rather poor. However, I did love this movie. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Some one stole over an hour of my life. The script was terrible, the characters where as complicated as a road runner movie, and the twist at the end was as surprising as jelly inside a donut. Please do not waist your time watching this movie, and do not support at production that would release this thing. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I should have known something was hinky when the two audio languages were English and Thai, and subtitles were available only in Korean and Thai. I'm not being racist, but this movie is not going for the Ivory-Merchant crowd; no French, no Spanish? What a shame-with Michael Keaton and Brendan Fraser as the leads, so much more could have been done with it.
Reviewers should not reveal endings; I won't, but be advised if you rent the movie to be sure to read the WARNING twice. Also, they didn't even try to make the L.A area look like NY in the locations scenes-kind of shoddy.
There was actually a good script here but somewhere somebody decided to go for a very different audience. I'd give Michael Keaton's performance a 10, sans language; Brendan Fraser's a solid 9.8; and the movie about a 4. The concept, overall, was about 8, I wish they had followed it through with acting and not....other diversions. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No
