From the time I saw the pilot right up until the last episode, I was completely entertained. The show manages to merge comedy, romance, drama, and suspense seamlessly into one beautiful work. I highly recommend this to anyone. I have recommended this show to everyone I know and I have yet to come across anyone who does not like this show. 5 stars!!! But didn't think about it for a couple of years. Recently I rented Season 1. Veronica Mars is like a great detective novel; it has suspense, twists and turns; a plot thread that begins at the first episode and stretches tautly until the season finale. I was surprised by the quality of the production values, the well-chosen score, the set decoration, the photography, the supporting actors, witty writing, the direction and Kristen Bell, a gifted actresses who had mastered her craft in a way few actors can aspire to. Read More Since this show first aired I've been hooked! It's been a while since I've seen the first season, so I decided to rent and rewatch, and now I remember why I fell in love! This is not your typical One Tree Hill / The OC type of teen drama. It's clever and whitty and does not disappoint! Veronica Mars uses her instincts, smarts, connections, and looks (sometimes, come on who hasn't at one point) to solve mysteries / problems / you name it.... It's refreshing to have a show that doesn't revolve around "beautiful people" hooking up, however VM doesn't lack the occational steamy scene. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

I'm now watching the first 2 seasons and loving them more than the 3rd. Plus, my husband's gotten addicted to it! I'm just sad that there won't be any more seasons.
