1 Academy Award winner, Jennifer Connelly, and 2 more Academy Award nominees, Leonardo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsou. It is Hounsou who steels the show. Amazingly powerful movie with equally powerful message, acting, action and drama. We were riveted throughout the show. And the heart of this movie is a compelling story of a father's love for his son. We bought this movie.

This movie was boring and predictable and was full of characters I didn't care anything about. It was just chase scenes, explosions and gunfire repeated over and over and over til my head hurt. Even Leonardo Dicaprio eye candy couldn't make up for this mess of a movie. I wouldn't recommend it unless you like alot of explosions and chase scenes and gunfire and not much else in your movies. Oh and bad accents.

Wonderful performance by both Leo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsou. A suspenseful tale of the illegal diamond trade and the slavery, smuggling and murder that goes with it. I came away from this movie on the edge of my seat. I do recommend with no regrets.
