I found it a little boring and there were a few too many songs (and I like musicals) The movie was about race relations, which is good, but it hits you over the head like a sledgehammer. This ... Read MoreNot my favorite genre. Still, I have to admit i enjoyed the choreography and story. The singing, not so much. I've never understood musicals. They seem to be only concerned with entertaining. This one has a nice message though. Walken was terrific. Michelle Pfifer is also great. I don't know why Travolta would take on such an idiotic role, but I guess it works for the dancing around. I still can't believe I enjoyed it, but I recommend it. It was a good musical. Found it very fun to watch, great family movie, and a good musical.. If you want something lite for the night to watch with alot of humor and great music, pick this, it's worth it.
