Burt Reynolds is the king in this really crummy movie. Ray Liotta returns as an evil wizard king straight out of Queens. How did this garbage ever get a theatrical release? WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

While movie employs many well known actors (some quite good), the overall plot and direction leaves you asking yourself, " what the hell is this movie about". I asked myself that exact question 10 mins, 25 mins, 45 mins, even an hour into this flix. I couldnt come up with a good answer. Well, I didnt make to the end, I couldnt do it, no matter how hard I tried. If there was a rating less than 1/2 a star, this movie (not the actors) would rate it. Read MoreI made the mistake of going to this movie in the theater. The title of my review is cognitive dissonance because this movie looks like a blockbuster and has beautiful cinematography but the acting is worse than a lifetime - made for tv movie. I felt very unattached to the characters and by the end I wanted it to end so bad that I was hoping a A Bomb feel and everyone died and the credits came up. I thought 3 stars was a stretch I would give it 1 star for looking like a blockbuster and -4 stars for horrible -laugh - at -acting. Whoever cast Ray Liotta in a fantasy movie was either doing him a favor, wanted the movie to be bad, or just has a wierd sense of humor because although I like him he did not belong in this movie. The bad guys are a joke and funnier than they are scary. I can only surmise that a bunch of people in Hollywood ate retard pancakes for breakfast then decided to make this film. Really like Jason Statham but this movie is not up to par. IF not for the actions seens this movie might have gone straight to DVD. Really far fetched. Ray Liotta as a wizard, enough said. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
