This movie felt like a cheap Lord of the Rings knock off. The acting was terrible, despite having decent actors. I'm not really sure there was a plot. Don't waste a rental on this flick. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Bert Reynolds played the King and that part did not fit him at all. The joker nephew was a joke and sometimes he had an accent and other times plain American. I would only recommend this movie for someone who have children, and I do mean young children. Elves on wires doing ballet in the trees, the good magicians daughter running around with a sword and armour never doing anything, and the Farmer who knows martial arts (where did he learn that growing potatoes).. just a bad..bad..bad movie. The graphics / costume and casting are at not the best. In some scenes , I could notice that some of the cast were probably wearing their own clothing that appears like modern indiana jones type of costume. For a movie set in ancient times, it appears so modern and lacks an authentic punch. Jason Statham has one scowl on his face all the time.
