I could only make it though about 30 minutes. The actual monsters looked like what I would see when I watch Power Rangers with my Daughter. This was really bad.

Terrible acting (yes...really!), unimaginative directing, forgettable sets and cinematography, coupled to an uninspired script. This film was a real disappointment, especially to fans of the Dungeon Siege game series. I feel sorry for people that actually saw this junk at the Theaters, because its poor fare even by Direct To Video standards in this reviewer's opinion.

I normally don't give bad reviews, but this was an overall bad movie. I actually fast forwarded through the battle scenes because it was like watching a Japanese Godzilla movie where they keep showing the same scene over and over again. Actually, it was more like the Boogiemen in "March of the Wooden Solders"! The acting was bad. The story was okay but predictable. The Krug were a rip off from Lord of the Rings.

I can't even imagine how this movie, if you can call it that, even gets 3 stars from anyone. Talk about a collection of B movie average actors completely out of their element in roles they should never consider (but must be getting desperate). Burt Reynolds as a king... Ray Liotta is a joke in this! I laughed hysterically before I popped it out halfway through. Good lord.

Whenever you see the name "Uwe Boll" listed as the director of a movie, you run....far, far away. Boll is this generation's king of B-movie schlock. Every movie he makes is the recreation of a video game. What is truly amazing, however, is Boll's ability to pull in some pretty decent talent in this one. Ray Liotta appears as does Statham along with a ridiculous looking Burt Reynolds in curly white hair and trademark mustache. Yeah, just what I was looking for: Smokey and the Bandit in a midevil romp.

I love movies, Acadamy Award winners, Sci-Fi blockbuserts, action adventure, it doesn't matter. Even if it isn't the smartest film ever made, there can be a right scenario for watching it. This was, far and away, one of the worst movies I have ever seen. The performances were terrible and unbelievable. And think, how bad does it have to be to be unbelievable when the movie is complete fantasy. Its a Lord of the Rings wannabe without any substance. Don't waste your time, vacuming is more enjoyable.

and not in a good way. I love Jason Statham in action movies but keep to the city. This was a poorly written story that attempted to mimic Lord of the Rings. Great scenery at times but god I couldn't wait for this movie to end. There was an interesting cast of characters but no one seemed to pull it off. Burt Reynolds as a king. The guy who plays Shaggy in Scooby Doo. I thought that this was leading to a Mel Brooks Medievel comedy. Let's put Jason back onto the streets of a big city and keep the ninja squad out of the forest. Watch this movie and you'll see what I mean.

First of all, if this is a "B" movie, or whatever category falls beneath "B" movies, then I take some of this back. Maybe it was all a spoof on LOTR-type movies, like Epic Movie or something. That would explain it. Absolutely horrid acting by a decent looking ensemble. It was almost as if the director forced them to NOT look like professional actors. Statham is passable as his typical character type. Rhys-Davies is OK--should have let this genre go with Gimli. Burt Reynolds! The Scream guy! and especially, Ray Liotta! Maybe they were paid by a rival studio to throw this one. They get one star because they resisted what must have been an irresistible urge to crack up, like what happens during some really funny SNL skits. The girls were OK, well, because they weren't hard on the eyes. Action, OK. Special effects, OK. Music--ridiculous TV western mini-series. Just absurd. For some stupid reason I forced myself to watch the whole thing. PLEASE--DON'T DO IT!!!!

This movie completely baffled me. How you can have that many great actors and still have such unconvincing characters is just unbelievable. The story was actually really good...but pulled off in a cheesy way. The special effects were pretty good. But the costumes for the bad guys looked like something from the original TMNT movie. Some of the battle scenes were O.K. But most looked less convincing than telivised wrestling.

movie lacked the luster and animation was not up to par, plot was good, actors were good but ...the ending was also non-spectacular. on a scale of 1 -- 10 i would give it a 5.75. disapointing with all the stars it had in it.
