I can't believe these two good actors would have ever agreed to make this movie. Turned it off after 20 minutes, it was so bad. Shooting off a baby's umbilical cord? Seriously? What a joke. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreHave you ever seen a pictograph - where a series of still pictures are put together like on the back of playing cards? Then as you flip through the pictures there is motion? This movie was like that. The dialogue was sophomoric. One got the feeling there was only enough budget to purchase ammo, but not enough to do the scenes over correctly. Save yourself some time and fast forward this movie so you can see the action and some of the eye-candy. Without the dialogue, you won't miss much. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Read MoreThe movie is so bizarre and off kilter that I'm still, nearly a week after having watched it, unsure whether I liked it. It was well rendered all the way through from writing to acting to direction to production, just so strange that I'm still not sure what to think... Sorta like Last Action Hero, only very mature (gore, sex) and hopped up on LSD and grit.
Love the cast. Clive Owen is at the top of my list and rising (it's tough to do, but he manages it) and Paul Giamatti makes everything funny - no matter how awkward or macabre.
Definitely a must for anyone who loves "different". Also recommended for everyone who loves pitch black comedies / spoofs mixed with a healthy dose of (similarly odd and intentionally overplayed) action.
