Yes, there was no way anyone would have survived anything that happened in the movie, but it was MUCH MUCH better than the last Die Hard which was trying to be serious, but wasn't. How in the world they could made a comedy out of hundreds of people being shot to death I will never know. Shoot em Up is a great title because that is what you get from start to finish NON STOP ACTION. I will never look at carrots the same again, I did not know they could be so deadly LOL! I truely hope the producers didn't REALLY think this was supposed to be a serious movie, the acting was bad and the scenes were just too unreal. Read More Beware: This DVD has some kind of copy protection that renders it unplayable in most of the DVD-playing devices in my house. My Dell desktop won't play it in VLC or WMP, neither will my HP laptop, nor will my Macintosh G5 desktop. The only device in my entire house that can actually play the disk is my Xbox 360.

46 out of 97 people found this review helpful If "over the top action movie" is the Hollywood euphanism for "Crap action movie", then they've got it spot on. I can't believe Clive Owen, who is on his second attempt at hitting the big time and doing rather nicely would agree to be in this rubbish. The carrot eating, corny one liners and bad acting is not going to improve his chances at Oscar time. Avoid this movie like the plague unless you've just had a frontal labotomy, in which case it'll be right up your street.....enjoy.WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No |
