I wasn't expecting much when i rented this movie...To my surprise, it turned out to be one of the best sci-fi acopolystic movies I have ever watched. Two thumbs up for Sunshine WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I thought the ... Read MoreI don't understand why some people only gave 1 or 2 stars . . . this is one of the best "hard sci-fi" movies I've seen. I thought the plot was original and reasonably easy to follow. I thought the story was pretty much "possible" -- no sci-fi movie is ever totally believable, but this story was good enough to allow me to suspend my disbelief. Read MoreBut originality is hard to come by. Youv'e seen parts of this film before, in Supernova, Solaris, Das Boot. That's not all bad, as each of those films has their appeal. Sunshine excels because of a good cast, a believable appearance, and some real tension.
