Read More This has got to be one of the best casting jobs for a comedy i've ever seen. All the characters are wonderfully developed and make for a very funny work environment. A great laugh. The lack of music adds to the perfectly executed satirical comments made by the cast, leading to (if you appreciate their sense of humor) one of the funniest shows i've ever seen. Read More The Office is a show that if you like this kind of deadpan humor it's really funny. Steve Carell is the perfect choice for Michael, the obnoxious, clueless boss of the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin paper. Pam and Jim are my favorite characters though as they add a sweeter side to the show which is sometimes defintely needed. Their relationship is spot-on and definitely helps the show. The rest of the characters are very funny from the crazy Dwight to the annoying Kelly to the stone cold Angela. I like Toby too who seems really nice. The humor can be mean a lot of the time so if you don't like that kind of humor you will hate this show. Even I, a big fan of the show, want to wring Michaels neck sometimes. We watched a little bit of the first one and felt like we were back in kindergarten. It was so immature and just plain stupid, it was embarrassing. It's sad but true, most of you will find the behavior of this bigoted, chauvinistic, bullying boss and his boxcar full of cowed employees hysterical.
