this seemed like a hurry up effort from Disney to copy the success of Madagascar and other similar movies. My 13 year daughter, my wife and i were all just shaking our head during the whole movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

As the other reviewers mention, this is very derivative of Madagascar, but nowhere near as funny. The plot is extremely weak. Even Eddie Izzard cant pull it out of the doldrums. If you like, The Lion King , you will probably like Wild. Its kind of slow at first but once you get into it the characters are very lovable. I didnt like it in the beginning but by the end I did. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

For the adult who may very well have to experience this film, and who may have experienced Madagascar, The Wild is better. WAY BETTER! Great Family Movie with a good message for the kid inside of you. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

Yes, this movie's plot is very similar to many aforementioned movies in the other reviews, but I still found it to be good. I enjoy that Disney cartoons have warm and fuzzy endings, might even say it's a relief!
And FYI--the major reason I even rented this movie was because of Eddie Izzard doing the voice of the koala--the characteristics were so much like him! WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
