I had read somewhere that The Worst Witch was J.K. Rowling inspiration for the Harry Potter Books so I looked it up and seen that Blockbuster had the tv series.well we rented it and we loved it ,we loved it so much we got the books for my daughter and I ended up reading it myself.They were written by Jill Murphy.The Worst Witch is about a girl that goes to the witch academy to learn witchcraft.No matter how hard she tries to be a good witch,she always manages to screw up thus getting the name The Worst witch,When you watch this I am sure you will notice the similarities between this and Harry Potter.So if you like Harry Potter I'm sure you will enjoy The worst Witch series.

I've seen this series when I was younger. I love it so much...... I hope my local TV station will bring it back on air... anyways I advice everyone who likes witchcraft and wizardry to grab a copy of this series... you will see the female version of snape....
