Don't waste your time with the U.S. version, watch the International Uncut, much more sense and better edited.

I haven't seen a Tony Jaa film that hasn't kicked ass. The capoeira fight is the bomb!

Wow! One of the best action packed movie I've ever seen. Definately a MUST-SEE. Tony Jaa is on the same level as Jackie Chen and Bruce Lee. What you see in the movie is ALL REAL, only one scene with the boat is stunt. The Absolutely Best Part of the movie is this one scene where the camera rolls for almost 5 minutes straight, and Tony Jaa keeps fighting. Very good camera man and director. The choreography is AMAZING. I was awed the whole time. The story line is simple, finding his most precious animal. The action is just one after the another. When you think he'd won, there'd be another tougher opponent. Keeps you on the edge of your seat till the very end! I really thoroughly enjoyed this movie.

I can respect a lot of martial arts films for the choreography during fight scenes. Unlike those, however, this fighting was clunky and down-right ridiculous in many scenes. The pro-wrestlers needed to lay off the red bull a little (absurd fight scenes and those characters should have been left out). I noticed someone say that we can't hold this movie to the same standards as others. Why not? A semi-decent plot with a lot of potential got completely swallowed up by limb-crunching sound effects, poor acting, and bad dialogue.) It's fully possible to have a fighting film with all the basic elements of plot, screenplay, and character development. How can a movie be declared good if it has none of these last elements?

The story line in this movie was quite bad. I thought the initial fight scenes were ok but nothing to cheer about, extremely unrealistic. I was not able to watch more than 1/2 the movie because it was so lame. It's about what you would expect for an action movie based around two elephants.

I watched the film but was very distrubed when the elephent was thrown. If you have seen the film you know what i speak of. would of enjoyed if i had watched it on mute
