Tony Jaa is a GREAT fighter and I loved this movie to the last drop. I loved him in Ong Bak and this one just took the cake. I wonder if thats the reason that Jet Li and Jackie Chan step back a moment to let him get some fame. Well either way I loved and would suggest it to any and everyone.

I am a big martial arts fan and this movie was excellent in every aspect. Tony did an excellent job in presenting his fighting abilities and he did his own stunts just like Jackie!! The story line to some was feable but to others it goes to show you that you don't always need a woman involved for a person to show their love. He had been taught by his father to Protect the elephants as the forefathers did. If you recall at the end scene, when Tony was breaking all those legs, his father told him to do that. I won't, don't want to spoil it for anyone, so watch the movie.

I don't know how anyone could not like this movie. This is a great movie. A little lacking on the storyline side, but really, who watches a kung-fu/fighting movie for the storyline. Tony is amazing. The choreography is incredible. I don't know how they are able to put some of these sequences together. Anyone who likes Jackie chan/Jet li movies should love this. Far better than Ong Bak. Non-stop fight sequences. A MUST SEE.

If you watched The Ong Bak Thai's Warrior then you don't miss Protector. Tony Jaa is the best martial art star so far I have seen. Although the story is suck but watching Tony Jaa action is fantastic move. Special when Tony is fighting with two bad kung -fu guys in fire building is the best scene; next scene fighting with Vietnamese kung-fu expert _Tri Nguyen in restaurant. The last action scene is too much fake but still interesting.

I probably watched all but 10 min. of the movie and was quite bored with it. The fighting scenes were awesome and very entertaining, however, it lacked a plot that kept me from watching it any futher. Being that Tarantino was involved, I thoght it would have been a great action movie compared to the others I have seen. Perhaps I didn't give it a chance to unfold.

The fighting is fantastic in this movie. However; if your looking for a movie to actually have a good story line and hold your interest you might want to pass. This movie pretty much put me sleep because the fighting was good but nothing really keeps your interest. To me it was almost like watching one of the old black and white martial art movies where all they do is fight for no reason. Like a martial arts "porn" if you will. Hi how are you lets fight....
