It's as if they wanted to make an "art" movie, found a frame to hang it on (Arbus' life) and then made up a bunch of stuff to connect the dots. I think this does the real Arbus a disservice. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

I really wasn't sure what the point was (since they didn't really seem to have a moral (accepting those who are different/loving people for who they are, not what they look like, vive la difference, etc) - nada. ). I turned it off after about an hour, and the story had gone nowhere. Strange, non-sensical characters. Nicole Kidman's acting was good, but she had nothing to work with.
