Alejandro González Inarritu is a cool filmmaker. I liked all of the actors. The editing was great too. So was the story. I look forward to more movies like this from Inarritu

This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. The main characters were very well developed, especially the mute/deaf girl, and they intertwined beautifully. The mexico story line was not as intriguing as the others, though. I was on the edge of my seat pretty much the whole movie. One of the only let downs was the ending which was pretty abrupt.

The movie had some thought provoking moments but overall ...it was over hyped. Acting was decent and the stories in and of themselves were interesting but still somehow came up purposeless. Crash did this same sort of 3-storyline-all-connected-together type of thing but it was very very successful. This movie came up short in that arena. Too bad b/c it did have potential.

We kept waiting for it to have a point, to connect these 3 unconnected stories, but in the end it still didn't make sense and wasn't worth the wait.

They should rename the movie Babble or Drivel. After watching it I just gotta ask, Whisky Tango Foxtrot? I was waiting for the threaded storylines to get woven together in the end and it just didn't happen. I'll bet the critics loved it - but us real people want entertainment. We don't want to spend days searching for the deep philisophical meaning or some hidden message that will save humanity from itself.

This movie had 3 plot lines that never developed and tried to combine them at the end. This movie could have been an 1 1/2 hour movie and still been the same crappy movie but then it wouldn't have wasted an extra hour of your life. Only watch if you want to get ticked off at the stupid movie for never getting exciting.

This was an accidental movie selection. It was really horrible.

Babel- a confused mixture of sounds or voices. What a perfect title for this movie, not only does the title describe that you will need to read captions for most of this movie but it also describes the movie itself, quite well. In fact I think the people who were writing the story line were babbling to each other. I say this because I feel like I have just wasted three hours of my life watching a movie that had absolutely no underlining value. It seams as if they took four separate stories that were not long enough to create a standard length movie and linked them together just to make a movie. The only reason I continued watching this movie was for it to all come together at the end (where you are supposed to be surprised). I don't mean to ruin it for you but if you can predict that in 60 seconds 1 minute will have passed, I think you can predict the end of this movie. And yes, that minute that just passed was probably more entertaining than this movie.
