Because I'm American, the entire monarchy thing is quite foreign and confusing. However, this movie opens my eyes to Queen Elizabeth and the way the royal family deals with things. Spectacular film! My husband got bored with it and I just didn't see that it was so terrific. Helen Mirren was good if being stony faced and non-emotional is all it takes to get Best Actress. I have learned alot from this movie, its sad to see how king & queens can't do alot for your own after they have step down I ask myself can I really live like that. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
