I think anyone who watched Pricess Diana's wedding, interviews, and funeral will enjoy this movie. Helen Mirren was the only person who could have portrayed the Queen. It gives an inside look at the contempt the Royal family had for someone that the rest of the world cherished. Following her death the Royal family behaved totally devoid of humanity while caring only about protocol. The movie also shows actual clips of Diana's life and reminds us what an incredible and beautiful human being the world lost.

I was an avid fan of Princess Di. I wept when she married and I wept when she cried. This movie brought back all of those memories and emotions. It made me miss Di once again. Was this a propaganda based film to endear us to the Queen? It was a superb film.

Great movie! Very educational and entertaining at the same time! Movie was not way too long as some have said. It actually seemed too short...I was upset when it was over! Gives great insight into the Royal family and the struggles they faced with the death of Princess Diana. Turns a light onto the Queen's side of the story.

I love Helen Mirren, but I didn't like the movie. It didn't show the Queen or the Queens people as having very much heart. They cared more for their animals than they did for Diane. How do we really know what happens behind closed doors. Helen did what she could with the character such as she was portrayed. It just didn't seem authentic. I guess I didn't like the writing. The scenery was beautiful outdoors with the Giant deer, etc.
