Read More I thought this was a well performed and interesting perspective on not just the death of Diana but the relationship between the Monarchy and Government of England. It will make you thankful we live in a democracy and not a republic and from an American perspective its facscinating to learn how important tradition is in the UK (even if that same tradition leads to the wrong outcomes as the Queen discovered). Frankly, at the end of the movie I felt pretty sad for the Queen, she might have the ttile but she seems not really part of her own country, Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No | ||

Di is dead and people should get over it! Between conspiracy theories and movies like this she'll live forever. She earned her fame and fortune the old fashioned way by marrying it. She came to a tragic end partly because of her stupidity (never let your driver drive you when he's under the influence) and partly because her fame caused paparazzi to chase her down everwhere she went. Read More This drama offers various points of view, some different from what most of us might expect. I anticipated this film might be a bit dry, but viewed it with an open mind, and was surprised to find it very interesting. The characters grew on me as the movie evolved, and the film changed my overall view of the royals (and new affection for the Queen). I would like to learn more about her now.
