Great awesome movie! Not anything like those other true story school movies...I thought maybe it was going to be like Stand By Me, but far different. Excellent acting even by the school kids in Room 203. You will really enjoy this movie. 16 and up, of course. A feel good movie of some small accomplishment that was made with these kids. Too bad there are not more teachers that cared like that. That would make a big difference in our school systems. We can only hope for our children.

This movie was amazing. I was not a big Hilary Swank fan prior to the film but I recommend this movie to anybody. This movie will grab you emotionally. Two Thumbs Up!

I had no expectations about this film - in fact I almost changed my mind about renting it. But I like Hilary Swank. As a middle aged white collar white man the first 45 min of the film kind of freaked me out, but by the end I was so glad I chose a film that make me laugh (and cry) and gave me cause to seriously re-kindle my dream of being a teacher. See this film - you probably won't regret the experience.

Movie is very realistic to the interactions between teachers and students. Betrays very well the attitude about problem students that public schools have.
