Read MoreFreedom Writers follows the tradition of other inner-city teacher films such as Stand and Deliver, Dangerous Minds, Coach Carter, and Lean on Me, and does so very well. If you liked those films, you will certainly enjoy this one. There were some holes in the film, such as the main character's underdeveloped relationship relationship with her husband, and the fact that we only saw one of her classes (we have to assume that she taught more than one class; was the class shown a single class or a fictional aggregation of her classes?). Moreover, some of the characters seemed rather two-dimensional. Nonetheless, the film was emotionally moving and definitely recommended. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes

This movie was sooooooooooooooo predictable and very boring. You knew how it would end ten minutes into the movie. The Blackboard Jungle was ten times the movie. WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
