At times his frustration & struggle was hard to watch. Single moms been there done THAT (I know) but here's a dad to tell his story as well. NOT as many resourses (at least in 81, & perhaps not even now) for single dads as there were/are for single moms. Trying to make a better life for the both of them. u really feel for the guy, walking beside him as he hits the lowest of lows, anticipating this happiness he strives for. i heard the guys kind of a jerk in real life tho, who knows, good flick WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
