Entertaining-suspenseful-rewarding. This is a must see for school kids involved in sports. Parents and coaches can learn a great deal from coach Resler, who I came to truly admire. He has a his deep understanding and love of teenagers. Don't skip the extras and bonus features which are just as entertaining. Did I mention I really liked it!

I'm a full supporter of NOT supporting inspirational sports film. In general, they're not very good. But this film is more than just a sport film; it's a documentary. The dialogs and the inspiration and the feeling is REAL! it's genuinely from the heart of these players. And, beign from Seattle, the local aspect of the film really made it more interesting and meaningful. It's also narrated by Ludacris, which is pretty sweet.

We loved it so much we watched it twice!! Parents may not be comfortable with some of the language and subject matter. I loved watching a young lady in the story overcome many life challenges!

Moral of the story - winning is everything...treat the opposition like animals. The coach correctly cautions about parents being too involved, but what about coaches like him? If intimidating the other team is how to win then I would rather my kids never played sports. Also, if someone drops out of high school why does she deserve another year of eligibility? Let's not have consequences when we can just hire a lawyer! I felt sorry for the kids who played less because of her return, and especially sorry for the teams they beat. Exciting story, but terrible messages.
