I selected from the my list of Blockbuster's Recommendations. This movie is so multi-faceted, you'll get tingue-tied trying to explain its depth to your friends. Just tell them to rent it themselves. Read MoreI was drawn to this movie by good reviews from friends and critics. I sat down one Saturday afternoon to watch it with great anticipation. It was annoying to read the subtitles and catch the emotion on the actors' faces at the same time, (sometimes this works, sometimes it doesn't - here it doesn't). This movie was a bit boring to say the least. It dealt with strong issues, but I didn't walk away from it sympathizing with any of the characters. Cruz's character is actually unlikeable throughout. I have never seen a film by Almodovar and now I won't see another. As far as I'm concerned, it doesn't live up to the hype. Close this ReviewWAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes
