Don't expect another Vicki Cristina Barcelona performance. This one is very slow and boring. I found all the kissing in the beginning (smack smack smack smack smack) to be VERY annoying; I don't know if it was the English subtitle version + sound effects, but it was just very weird for me. I didn't bother to finish it.

This movie contains quite a few surprises. It is very well written and acted with an unconventionally comedic treatment of serious family tragedy and taboo subjects which don't weigh you down. I enjoyed it because it was very different from anything I've seen before, and is not at all formulaic.
