My oldest two (7 & 5) loved this movie but my youngest (3) was bored with it. It was good, but not as good as I'd hoped. There's not much for the Adult viewer (not at all like Shrek with humor for the parents). It was worth seeing and the family had a great time at the theater together.

Everyone in my family loved it! The story is about believing in yourself (and in the wonder of a magical toy shop). It also touches on the beauty of life and death, all told with a magical sparkle.

Was a decent movie. Kids and adults will both enjoy it. Weird point, Natalie Portman looks like a little boy in it. I'm amazed that she was Mrs. Darth Vader.

I thought this movie was ok, but I like Dustin Hoffman...he played this role well. It was strange, but interesting. It had a lesson to it, which was probably lost on many vieweres who tend to not look for something like that in a movie. My rating of three stars means I liked the movie, but would only watch it once. Not a bad movie to watch with little kids...not enough "action" for older kids.
