Read More This movie certainly was shot outside of the box. It was a parody of the world we live in and a critique of what our reaction would be if such an event happened. The acting and cinematography were unique and well done. Sarah Michelle Gellar did a great job. It was good to see her come out of her Buffy-type roles. The Rock didn't do it for me. I couldn't smell what the Rock was cooking. Overall, I liked it, but i wasn't crazy about. It's just okay. It was long and bored me, but not as painful as 2012 Doomsday. Read More I was so horribly put off by this movie that I am compelled to write my first review on here. I was drawn into this movie by the cast and a few peviews I have seen. It is the worst movie I have ever seen. I spent the whole time trying to figure out what was going on. At the end of it, I was left confused. There was no plot, no fluidity, no good acting. Scott, but this was the weirdest movie I have watched in a long time. If it hadn't had such great actors, I might have stopped watching it half way through. The story is hard to follow and doesn't make sense at time. It kind of all comes together at the end if you can wait that long. Again, weird, weird, weird. I though Quinten Tarrintino might have directed it, yes its that weird, but he didn't. Anyway, if you love the actors watch it. The Rock is funny at times. But for an overall story - pass. Who could ask for a greater cast? The hilarious Sheri Oteri and Amy Pohler, Studs Seann William Scott and The Rock, and my favorite actress of all time who can do no wrong Sarah Michelle Gellar. And it sounded like it would be a thinking man's science fiction movie as well as a bit of a drama and comedy. So many actors and so many genres: That was it's downfall.
