Many jokes had a touch of adult hunmor that was over the heads of smaller childern. Unfortunately, I feel a childs movie should be for them, not me. And even though I can't stand Jerry Seinfeld, I tried to watch with an open mind. But this has to be one of the stupidest movies ever made. But the story line was disappointing for me. I didn't think it was "relatable" and I found nothing in there that was of any worth to me other than the amazing film work. Bees suing the human race, come on Jerry! This movie made Jerry Seinfeld look good. It was funny and entertaining but definitely not one I would want to watch again. One problem is that the story freely mixes pure ... Read More Bee Movie had a dull, weird script that didn't make much sense, and put the whole family asleep. The animation is fine but it lacks a storyline. One problem is that the story freely mixes pure fantasy, like bees driving cars inside the bee hive, with more realistic situations so there is no consistent concept or rules for the fantasy world. There are a number of jokes about the short lifespan of the bees, but then ends with the Seinfeld bee as a lawyer with his human girlfriend while ignoring the earlier bee lifespan premise. It seemed the movie is a number of tired one liner jokes stuck together to make a movie, and the storyline was used to connect the jokes, creating an incoherent jumble. The thin plot is not understandable by young children, and many of the animated scenes like bees in a courtroom are visually boring. There are a number of much better animated movies to watch.
