Don't take it too seriously. It's a funny movie and worth renting. There's a scene about 3/4 of the way in involving Winnie the Pooh that had me rolling off the couch.

Yes, very visually stunning! The animation was beautiful and kept and held me and my children's interest for *most* of the movie. I felt however, the movie tried to do too much. Suing humans, saving the world, trying to save an airplane, ya get the idea! I know that you need to suspend realisim, especially for animation movies, however, I felt it was just WAAY too far fetched having the bee (Barry as voiced by Seinfield), falling for a human, dunno maybe it's just me??? I also felt that Barry (Seinfield) just kept doing one liners and I guess that is the idea, but the comic bee stand up routine got a little stale for me after awhile. I really don't like Jerry Seinfield ever since his over-the top egomanic interview on Larry King so maybe that is why though. HOWEVER, you know that if you have children you will be seeing this movie. My kids loved it and definitely a must see for the family.

I feel they have a good mix of adult humor with stuff for the kids too, but the bee movie didn't really do it for me. it was good and i'm sure your kids will like it but for me it fell a little short. maybe i excpeted too much but after the 1st 1/2 hour it started to bore me.

Here is a bright, pleasant, ultra high-tech animated movie cartoon. In contrast to dark Sci-Fi Fantasy movies, this really highlights bright colors and daylight locations in eye-popping detail in a beautifully animated work. It has a really fun story and an amazing cast! I loved seeing them animate New York City and Central Park by accentuating the appeal the city truly has these days. After this movie, I now understand why Jerry Seinfeld wasn't too proud to dress up in a bee costume to promote it. The movie is THAT good. I loved every minute. P.S. Mark T.P. is an idiot.

I thought this movie was very cute, but it did have some adult jokes in it that would probably go over the head of most children, but I don't think it was appropriate for small kids.

Animation was top notch! Comedy was typical Seinfeld, and not very good. The story line was terrible and far fetched. Barry, on one of his outings discovers that humans are taking bees honey. After befriending a human he decides to sue honey companies in human court. (Yea right, even in most far fetched stories on animals that talk, this was way out there) After winning his case honey production shuts down. Little did they know that stopping production would lead to the flowers not being pollinated and that all the flowers would die. In an attempt to restart pollinating they travel to another area, steal flowers and board a plane to fly them back. While on the plane both of the pilots get knocked out. One of the worst parts of the movie came next where the plane need to be landed. I will let you see the movie to understand how dumb this part was. After landing they started pollinating, and all is back to normal.
