Read More Great Cast, Captivating story of the murders that took place in the late sixties and how police and one persistent cartoonist from the San Francisco Chronicle tried to solve this case with the little technology they had back then. You will be able to make your own judgement on whom you think did it by the end of the movie. I will definitely look for Robert Graysmiths book which inspired this movie. All true crime fans, this is a MUST SEE!!! You'll get your moneys worth here!! Well Done....... Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I know alot of movie goers are weary of seeing this movie because of its length. Don't be, it's a fantastic film for drama lovers, true crime fans, and serial killer buffs. The zodiac story is an intense one, and Fincher packs it all into this movie. He also saves us from having to sift through truth and fiction by just giving us the facts. Great acting, great detail, and a fast three hours in the theatre. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

At 160 minutes, it slows down a bit in the middle. The movie is more about the cartoonist/writer who later wrote the books on The Zodiac Killer. It seems fairly accurate. Worth watching, but it's a rental. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More A true story where the suspense builds ever so gradually as the story unfolds. Gyllenhall is very good as a nebisch whom no one takes seriously and whose obsession with the murders grows into a sort of madness. It is he who finally discovers the likely identity of the Zodiac killer. His research is used by the cops, 20 years later, to finally zero in on the Zodiac but is justice delayed, justice denied? Robert Downey, Jr. is well cast as the talented journalist, Paul Avery, who descends into substance abuse and marginality. Close this Review WAS THIS REVIEW HELPFUL? Yes | No

Read More I think that this movie is definatley a little over rated. The first hour or so had my interest, but for the next two I was counting the seconds until I was out of the theater! There's not enough suspense, but when there is suspense its great, and kept me on the edge of my seat. You'll like it if you expect a movie that'll dig into the lives of the people involved in the case and figuring out who's behind it all, not if your expecting a suspenseful, scary movie.
